A little bit about our club
SCAPSA Leauge and matches are open to the public otherwise the range is closed to the
public.
We emphasize USPSA/IPSC style shooting. We
primarily shoot following the
USPSA rules. We do not have trap or skeet shooting.
Range Safety and USPSA Safety Rules
SCAPSA runs a cold range. For safety the USPSA rules of a cold range
stipulates that a shooter may not have a loaded gun except while shooting a
course of fire. Even if you have a carry permit you still can not have it
on our range loaded.
Safe Areas / Safety Tables
We have safety tables at designated SAFE AREAS where you may uncase your
UNLOADED pistol and holster it. Your gun may NOT be out of its holster except
in the SAFE AREA or when it's your turn to shoot and the Range Officer has given
you the command to load and make ready. NO AMMO is ALLOWED, under any
circumstances, in the SAFE AREA. Ammo may be handled anywhere outside of the
SAFE AREA.
Range Hours (Members Only)
Our range is not open every day and the
hours each day are different. It is important to only be shooting at the
range when it is open. Check out our
Range Schedule. Membership is reqired to use our range durring non League and
match times.
Range Location
Our range is a few miles south of St.
Cloud. Check out the Map
