- Saturday, July 13th 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Saturday, July 13th 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Sunday, July 14th 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Match Information
We are once again having a Ruger Rimfire Match at SCAPSA. This will be a match like a USPSA steel match except with only using 22 cal ammo and we will be following the Ruger match rules.

This is stand and shoot at steel targets with 22 rimfire rifle and 22 rimfire pistol only (no 17’s or magnums). Each of the 10 stages (5 pistol & 5 rifle) will have 4 strings of 6 targets. you will keep your best 3 runs on each stage for score. Your place will be based upon your total time for all stages combined (30 of 40 strings). The shooting range will be short – 10 to 20 yards with the pistol and slightly longer with the rifle. All magazines must be loaded with only 10 rounds (you can also have a round in the chamber) so you can not shoot more than 11 rounds without reloading.
This is a great match for both experienced and new shooters as the stages are not difficult. Speed will determine the winners but even beginning shooters will have fun. All prizes will be given out by drawing but there will be plaques for the top shooters in each division and for ladies, juniors & seniors. There will be divisions for limited and open (limited – iron sights / open – red dots and scopes). Both guns must be limited to shoot in the limited division. We will also recognize a cowboy division (pistols single action revolvers / rifles are pump or lever action) but there will not be separate plaques for this division. Parking
Parking is on our range grounds. Once you arrive we will have staff to guide you to your parking spot. Please no parking on the road or shoulder,
we will just have to come find you and ask you to move onto the range. If you can carpool that will make parking easier.
Prize Table
Ruger and TACCOM (along with many other sponsors) will again be major sponsors for this match so we have an excellent prize table which will include rimfire pistols and rifles along with many other nice prizes – all of which will be awarded by drawing (following each session) so everyone has an equal chance at a nice prize.
